So we went to the Gateway looking for clothes, right? We each wanted to update our wardrobe (well, in my case, the words "image overhaul" come to mind; it's time for a drastic change- no more T-shirts and jeans every single day!), so we went to several stores looking for cute, different, hopefully inexpensive (or at least not ridiculously overpriced) clothes to add to our stores. I had no such luck... but that doesn't mean that I didn't buy anything.
We were in Wet Seal (not a store that I would recommend: the music is too loud and they don't have a lot of cute clothes, although there are a few roses among thorns) looking through the racks upon racks of clothes when I saw it. It was the single coolest thing in the store (apart from a really cute brown "safari-type" button up shirt that didn't fit quite right and didn't have a small enough price tag). It was hanging from a peg amid all the yellow and black, which makes sense, because it's yellow.
I'll bet you're wondering what it is. Well, here's a picture.
It's a purse. Isn't it cool? (Only mine's not blue. It's yellow.) Yeah, Christine convinced me to buy it, even though I really don't need it. (But we figured, "Hey, we're here and you might as well buy something." Not good logic, but the damage is done.)
Yeah. It's dangerous to take me shopping.

ReplyDeleteAhhh. It's comforting (I think) to see that I'm not the only one of the sisters who won't fall for buying a shirt but can get suckered into getting one more purse (or pair of shoes) every time.

Okay, I'm totally jealous. I want that purse, except I'd take it in blue, so's we weren't copying each other's style. Yo. So, it also sounds like Steeny and I are the peer pressure and you and elliespen cave to us. I'm glad we have a system that works! :)
